The Sequentra® Story:

In 1991 a company was formed to provide integrated Corporate Real Estate (CRE) services as a core offering. Today this offering is known widely as "corporate solutions" or "corporate services". It is the integration of CRE services including Transaction Management, Project Management, Lease Administration and Facilities Management. In addition to these services, this company recognized there was a growing need related to helping corporate real estate departments manage and centralize their real estate related information. For several years this corporate solutions firm sat in between a growing number of corporations and their real estate systems providers. In almost all circumstances customers were frustrated with the products and services that existed in the cottage industry of corporate real estate software. While there were many fine systems on the market, most systems were designed to support one aspect of CRE or to support a service provider niche such as lease audit services. This lack of design intent only added to the frustration of the corporate users and their service providers. Unfortunately none of the existing software providers at the time had the vision of creating a web based software system that was built specifically from the ground up as a CRE tool. These companies had all invested heavily in their core area and had built businesses that were not agile enough to make the transition to the future – cloud based CRE enterprise grade Software as a Service (SaaS). Many corporations today are still trapped in legacy client server based applications with no clear migration path to a future proof scalable platform.

A better way…

We saw the writing on the wall and decided to take matters into our own hands and develop a better way to meet the needs of clients. We created a separate company to deliver the vision of an integrated corporate real estate solution; Sequentra® Solutions LLC was born. We recruited the best industry and software development resources and created a technology startup. The vision was to create a fully dedicated business to deliver world class CRE Information Management – Technology and Data Excellence. Sequentra® quickly grew to over 100 clients and almost all of those clients are still with us today.

Over the years the product continuously improves, based upon client feedback and that from our own industry expertise. We merged with CBRE and gained additional expertise in global corporate real estate. Throughout the transitions, our primary goal to help Corporate Real Estate (CRE) departments be successful has never wavered. What we believe in:

Sequentra® Leadership Team Members:

Chris Mayer, Director

Chris brings more than 34 years of global corporate real estate experience to Sequentra®. He has responsibility globally for all client implementations and operations of Sequentra® technology serving client's real estate, transactions, projects and CAFM needs. He ensures professional, integrated resources are allocated to meet and deliver to all client commitments which include consulting, needs analysis, and integration of systems to improve customer informational management goals.

Chris has broad-based experience across a number of industries including communications, financial services, government, aerospace/defense and technology, and has consulted on the portfolios for companies such as Avon, McGraw-Hill, State of New York OGS and United Technologies.

Prior to joining the Sequentra® team he spent 5 years delivering real estate technology solutions to companies such as Citibank, Bloomberg and Ernst & Young. This was preceeded by 15 years of real estate brokerage service in New York City with Merchandise Mart Properties and Cushman & Wakefield representing more than 3 Million square feet of prime office buildings.

Lisa Weaver, Sequentra Product Manager

Lisa has been with Sequentra® for over 12 years. In that time she has served multiple roles involving support desk, implementation, service delivery and sales management. Her client implementations and support experience span several industries, including: Financial, Manufacturing, and Technology.

Now as the Sequentra® Product Manager, Lisa explores opportunities for new system functionality and to improve the user experience. She collaborates with Sequentra's in-house development team to refine scope and implement new features. Lisa also works with clients and account managers to ensure successful implementations and support delivery.

Prior to her Sequentra® tenure, Lisa worked in real estate lease administration management; she also had a ten year career in communications and marketing. Lisa holds certification in Project Portfolio Management and is an MBA candidate.

Simon Moore, EMEA Real Estate Director

Simon has been delivering operations and service within CBRE for more than 10 years, working across a number of global corporate real estate and project management customers with an emphasis on programme management project management, real estate technology and account management. He has the lead responsibility for the delivery of Sequentra technology platform to CBRE EMEA and APAC customers.

Simon has built up a solid experience base across a number of industries including banking and financial services, petrochemical, life science and technology. Simon is an MBA educated Director working across the EMEA and APAC region delivering Real Estate Technology and process solutions, programme management and change expertise across a wide range of blue chip clients in the Media, Banking and Industrial Sector. Previous positions include management of an EMEA wide PMO (Programme Management Office) solution for a number of blue chip clients delivering transitional and construction change across the work place.

Tim Melvin, Service Delivery Manager

Tim brings more than 15 years of systems and project management experience to CBRE. As the Service Delivery Manager for Sequentra he is responsible for the oversight of implementations and the ongoing management of client accounts by regularly interfacing with client decision makers and senior stake holders.

Tim has a background designing, delivering, and managing many types of web-based systems for global corporate clients. He is also a subject matter expert on best-practices and techniques in the realm of project management and IT service management, holding both Project Management Professional (PMP) & an IT Service Management (ITSM) certifications.
